Roles: On-Platform Art Direction, Visual, Post-Production

Love Island USA

Love Island Season 07 landed with a massive splash this year on platform and solidified itself in Peacock Reality TV history as it became the most-watched original series to date. Over its six-week run, the season racked up a total of 18.4 billion minutes of viewing time, which roughly equated out to 306.67 million hours across all devices.

We helped achieve this feat in partnership with the Peacock Originals and Title Marketing teams. Together we planned, executed, and launched a fun, interactive experience on platform by utilizing new features like the Showcase Rail, Short-form Clips, and Mini Games. Additionally we created brand new collections and supportive creative to complete the on-platform package.

My role involved selecting, editing, and finalizing the episodic imagery for the entire season, refreshing the key art and product detail page (PDP) in alignment with key dates, and designing supplementary creative.

Episodic Imagery - Selection & Production

As Art Director, I worked directly with the Love Island Photo team to curate and select every episodic still for the entirety of the Love Island season. The photo team flagged any images with potential spoilers and from their remaining photography pool, I hand-picked, edited, optimized, and delivered final episodics. When selecting images, I consider our established platform best practices, including emphasizing talent variety, matching relevant metadata, and accurately depicting the content. For reality series like Love Island, I also take into account character storylines and season standouts (like Amaya Papaya).

Love Island Mobile Games

For Mobile games, I partnered with product, photo, merchandising, and content experiences teams to bring them to life. After product develops the template, I handle the production and delivery of prediction games and contestant headshots for the entire run, netting in over 60+ deliverables for a single season.
